Adelita's Way Las Vegas Band Released Self-Titled CD At Palms Vegas


Adelita’s Way Las Vegas based band released their self-titled cd last night at the Palms hotel casino. The Alternative-rock band is signed to Virgin/EMI Music. They performed a live set at The Lounge inside Palms.

The formation of the band happened back in 2005. They started with four members in Las Vegas, Nevada including bassist Chris Clemence, lead guitarist Chris Lorio, drummer Jon Logan, and singer songwriter Rick DeJesus.

The current mix of Adelita’s Way band members are fellow bass player Derek Johnston, second guitarist Keith Wallen, DeJesus, new drummer Trevor Stafford and Lorio.

The band’s influences are Foo Fighters, Three days Grace, STP, Breaking Benjamin, Soundgarden and Audioslave.

Without any album up, Adelitas Way, named after a brothel in Tijuana’s Zona Norte, has already opened for Saliva, 10 Years, Chris Cornell, Tantric, Hinder and Chevelle.

Adelita’s Way is becoming known for its WWE Superstars on WGN America theme song, Invincible. It was aired first on April 16, 2009. The quickly rising favorite song of fans is also featured on the CSI Miami Finale commercials for CBS TV which aired May 11-18, 2009.
