Recently I joined the Las Vegas Athletic Club and many times after my evening workouts I am starving and have no patience for cooking or getting fast food. That’s when I stumbled (literally, I was exhausted from the workout) on The Black Pepper Grill.
Formerly the White Chocolate Grill, The Black Pepper Grill offers a wide array of fare from burgers, ribs, tasty salads, pasta and seafood. My gym buddy and I started out with the calamari which was fresh nicely seasoned and not greasy at all. After the fried calamari, we decided to pretend we were healthy and ordered salads. My dinner companion had the Ahi Tuna salad that sported mangos avocados and their special house vinaigrette. It was tasty and the tuna was slightly seared on the outside and pink and rare in the middle, just the way I like it. I ordered the Salmon salad which consisted of field greens, almonds, goat cheese also in a light vinaigrette. It was also quite good and not at all low cal.
We skipped dessert and ordered a White Chocolate Martini (presumably from the former restaurant menu). A very tasty meal, but blew our diets…Oh well, the readers of My Vegas Scene come before my dietary needs….I’m doing this all for you people….It’s all for you.
The Black Pepper Grill is located at 9510 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123 (South of the 215). Their website is at www.blackpeppergrill.com. They have a decent wine and beer menu along with a full bar.Tags: Black Pepper Grill Las Vegas, Burgers, Lamb, New Restaurants Las Vegas, Pasta, Restaurants Las Vegas, Ribs, Salads, Steak
