Bondage Goes Bad: Man Dies During Sex Act

We all have our own little things that turn us on and to that, I say, “Whatever floats your boat.” And if kayaks are your thing and you don’t like boats. Then the hell with them! That’s okay too. But, you have to admit, when it’s a sexual taboo – and you get caught with your pants down (no pun intended) – it can be rather embarrassing.

That’s just what happened to one Ohio man. According to the The News-Herald, “investigators believe exotic animal owner Sam Mazzola’s death was an accidental result of a consensual sexual act.” Dr. Frank Miller, who’s the region’s Chief Deputy Lorain County Coroner, has ruled out the 49-year old’s sex related death as a homicide or suicide. According to Lorain County Sheriff’s detective Mike Lopez’s police report, Mazzola was found dead on Sunday face down on his water bed by a teenage co-worker in the fencing company where Mazzola was reportedly working as the foreman.

Currently, “investigators are searching phone and computer records, in addition to security footage at Mazzola’s Marks Road property in order to get a time frame for Mazzola’s death and to make sure everything matches what they’ve been told. So far, nothing suspicious has been found.” So what was our animal loving sexually uninhibited enthusiast doing to himself? Well, let’s take a look at the cause of death. It’s listed as asphyxia due to airway obstruction by a foreign body. So in other words, the dude choked while choking it. But why?

“Mazzola had an object in his throat, which obstructed his airway. He was also wearing a leather mask with the eyes and mouth zipped shut and a two-piece metal sphere covering his head. Mazzola was handcuffed to chains that were attached to the bed and the floor.” Um… I’d like to remind you that investigators have commented on the case stating that “so far, nothing out of the ordinary.” Really? All in a day, huh? Sure… you spend that much time with exotic animals and probably figure, “Hey! They’re not the only ones that get to wear leashes and collars.”

Somebody obviously had to help him conduct this act. At one point there was an assistant under investigation but nobody has been charged. According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Mazzola had four black bears, a coyote, three raccoons, a skunk and a red fox as of March 29. I don’t know about you… but my money is on one of the bears. Something tells me they have the best paws for choking.
