Terrible’s Primm Valley Casino Resorts presents four-time Grammy Award-winning trio Boyz II Men 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 at Buffalo Bill’s in the Star of the Desert Arena.

From 1992 to 1997, Boyz II Men recorded five number one R&B hits. “I’ll Make Love to You” broke Boys II Men’s own chart record set by “End of the Road” when it captured the number one spot for an astonishing 14 weeks. “I’ll Make Love to You” earned the group its fourth Grammy Award, for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal. When “On Bended Knee” replaced it at the top of the Hot 100, Boyz II Men became only the third act in chart history—after Elvis and the Beatles—to replace itself at number one. Additionally, “One Sweet Day” (with Mariah Carey), set and broke records for the longest period of time a single remained at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

In addition to its four-time Grammy Award status, Boyz II Men recently garnered two Grammy nominations for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance By a Duo Group With Vocals for the 2009 awards. The band’s first-ever, full-length live concert DVD, Motown – A Journey Through Hitsville USA- Live, was released Dec. 9, 2008 on Decca, bringing the full concert experience to new and old fans alike.

The sounds of Boyz II Men are as influential as that of its ‘60s predecessors such as the Temptations and the Miracles. Recognized as one of the most successful male vocal groups of all time, Boyz II Men have sold more than 60 million records worldwide.
