The Miss Universe Pageant is back in Las Vegas for the first time since 1996. Pageant officials are promising that this year will be the most entertaining of all. With host Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales and performances by Orianthi, John Legend & The Roots, this could be the best year by far.
With 83 of the most beautiful women in the world from 83 different countries, this pageant showcases beauty in every essence. Whether you prefer the beauty of a saucy Latino, a porcelain skinned Asian, an exotic Middle Eastern beauty, or a good ol’ All- American girl, there will be a woman on stage for everyone.
But beauty aside, these girls have so much more to offer. They are smart, strong, and moral women who have devoted their lives to helping others through their charitable works within their communities. The reigning Miss Universe, Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez works with children, HIV/AIDS, women’s reproductive charities, and just recently started her works with PSI Youth AIDS and Gay Men’s Health Crisis. These are the women responsible for changing our world and I salute them.
You can purchase tickets for the pageant on August 23rd at the Mandalay Bay Event Center for $85 and $350, or you can do as I plan and stay at home and watch the Miss Universe Pageant live on NBC at 9:00pm.
And don’t forget to cheer for our gal, the beautiful Miss USA, Rima Fakih. Good Luck!!Tags: Las Vegas, Miss Universe 2010, Miss Universe Pageant Las Vegas
