Did you know that City Center represents the largest single new employment opportunity in the history of Las Vegas? It’s true.
Starting January 5th 2009, City Center will be accepting applications via www.citycentercareers.com in hopes of filling over 12,000 positions. Can you believe that? “To see this unprecedented undertaking to fruition, we need smart, passionate individuals who bring a diversity of perspectives and abilities to our company,” said Bobby Baldwin, CityCenter’s president and CEO. “We encourage every person in pursuit of a truly rewarding career to apply,” he continued. Do you think you fit the bill?
The mega-complex will be hiring for positions at its Vdara Hotel & Spa, “Crystals” – their retail and entertainment district, as well as “Aria Resort and Casino” – all of which reside inside of City Center. Furthermore, the Mandarin Oriental and the Harmon Hotel, Spa and Residences will be accepting applications through the same website beginning in the spring. Any position you can imagine ranging from food and beverage, hotel operations, casino operations, retail management, entertainment, finance, human resources, facilities, security and more will be available thanks to MGM Mirage’s latest project.
City Center doesn’t plan on opening for business until late 2009 (September). If you’ve been struggling through this economy and looking for a job, this may be your shot – if you can hang on that much longer.
