LOS ANGELES, Calfornia ~ (AP) ~ Prosecutors report that a Los Angeles man created 130 phony Facebook pages, along with Craigslist profiles, all in order to harass his 16-year-old former girlfriend.
The Los Angeles city attorney’s office claims 22-year-old Jesus Felix pleaded no contest on Wednesday, October 19th to two counts of violating California’s newly-enacted impersonation law and one count of making harassing telephone calls. In a press release, prosecutors say Felix created numerous Facebook pages and Craigslist listings using photos of his ex-girlfriend. The girl’s mother discovered online profiles containing her daughter’s contact information, as well as sexually explicit pictures.
Felix was sentenced to five years on probation and ordered to perform 30 days of community service working on a road crew. A one-year prison sentence was suspended on the condition that he successfully completes anger management and sex therapy classes.Tags: California, Craigslist, Facebook, girlfriend, harass, man, Weird News
