LAS VEGAS, N.V. —- Las Vegas casino owner, George Maloof is facing multiple charges stemming from his DUI arrest last month.
The 46-year-old owner of the Palms Casino Resort was officially charged with DUI, speeding, improper turn, driving without a valid license and operating a vehicle without security.
A spokesman for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said, Maloof admitted to drinking four Coronas and taking Ambien before climbing behind the wheel of his car and hitting the Las Vegas streets on Oct. 9.
Maloof was doing 72 in a 45 MPH zone, when he lost control of his vehicle while making a left hand turn according to LVMPD.
Maloof, who should probably change his name to Charlie Sheen, will more than likely plead the case out; receive a slap on the wrist with a small fine with little else coming his way as far as punishment. After all, bad behavior is always rewarded when you have money, power and celebrity status.
