I think it’s safe to say that Italian fashion house Emporio Armani has an affinity for risque females, as they have chosen their Megan Fox follow-up to become the face of their denim department, in Barbados native, Rihanna. Of course, it’s a must to nominate a lady who undoubtedly oozes sex appeal, but the current and previous choices have been more than open with their frivolous sexuality, thus obtaining a controversial position.
Nonetheless, let me, for one, say that I am not mad one bit at the selection. Poised as one of the most sought after female celebrities, Rihanna clearly has the fan following, audacity, and face, along with the body, to fit the billing.
So as she has become the walking billboard for Armani Jeans, we have on our hands, a short film, in which Ri Ri feels it all too necessary to get out of those stiff, can’t-breath formal clothes and hop into a little something more comfortable — such as a pair of Armani denim, of course. Who are we to complain?
Judging by her already impressive fan base, equipped with quite possibly more women than men (silly females and their sexuality), this was of course a solid play by Armani and will surely result in an impressive upcoming quarter for the company.
So here’s to the Italian luxury brand, and of course, the new spokesperson.
