The Sirens of TI (or Treasure Island for the not so “up on things”) is a swashbuckling show at the front entrance of the Treasure Island Resort and Casino. Looking at the sirens and pirates you’d think Treasure Island borrowed Chippendale Dancers from The Rio and Victoria Secret Lingerie models for their rousing battle of the sexes.
The action started when the Sirens (VSLM = Victoria Secret Lingerie models) called to the Pirates (Chippendale Dancers) to come on their ship. The Chippendales didn’t fall for the VSLM’s shenanigans, but instead, fired big cannons at them (a little phallic, don’t you think?). The Siren’s laughed and scorned the pirates (like VSL models do) and danced and sang (you know, like the Pussycat dolls). Then the Pirates fired those huge exploding cannons and the Sirens…Yes, I think you know what happens next….The Sirens, sank the pirate ship with their voices (I don’t think that’s necessarily a good thing) forcing the pirates to swim to the safety of the Siren’s ship.
The battle ended with the Pirate Captain and the Lead Siren heading upstairs to “get busy” Perhaps they signed some contracts so the Sirens wouldn’t get sued for sinking the pirate ship. More dancing ensued, climaxing with one of the Sirens hanging from a giant chandelier that magically appeared from the boat.
At least that’s how I remember it….
