LOS ANGELES, Calif. — If being married to your on screen sister wasn’t creepy enough, how about divorcing her? Dexter star Michael C. Hall and wife, actress Jennifer Carpenter are divorcing according to Entertainment Weekly.
Sources close to the couple said it was Carpenter who decided to end the two-year marriage to Hall.
A joint statement from the reps says that they split up some time back, and that, of course, the split is amicable.
Hall, who was previously married to Broadway star Amy Spanger (“Elf,” “Rock of Ages”) met Carpenter on the set of Showtime’s “Dexter” in 2006, where Hall,39, plays a blood spatter expert and serial killer. Carpenter, 31, plays his homicide detective sister Deborah Morgan.
Hall, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in January 2010, announced he was cured by April 2010.
No reason was given for the split, but we’re guessing divorce papers will state “irreconcilable differences.”Tags: Dexter, Divorcing, Jennifer Carpenter, Michael C. Hall, Showtime, Television
