The Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas will be hosting not one, not two, but three career fairs to recruit new team members for its highly anticipated debut this December 2009. It will take place over three different days; September 14th and 15th from 7pm to 9pm for a variety of food and beverage positions, and then again on September 19th from 4pm to 6pm for housekeeping and security openings.
The upcoming career fairs will take place at CityCenter’s Career Center. Upon it’s opening, the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas will employ over 500 team members and are welcoming those of all experience levels and backgrounds to apply.
Here’s a little more information about the hiring process. Applicants will participate in a resume review with a human resources representative. Those who stand out as being “exceptional” applicants will be asked to partake in departmental interviews and complete a skills assessment test. Next, candidates will meet with the General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas for a final interview. Job offers will be extended in September and team members will begin working as early as October.
