Miss USA 2009 just took place today at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas, and as you can imagine – it was quite the sight to see! There were special guest appearances from previous Miss USA and Miss Universe contestants, as well as celebrity judges and onlookers alike.
To start, Donald Trump, the Co-Owner of the Miss Universe Organization made a guest appearance. He was joined by Crystle Stewart, Miss USA 2009, Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2009, and Stevi Perry, Miss Teen USA 2008. In addition, we saw Billy Bush – host of Access Hollywood, Nadine Velazquez, star of My Name is Earl and star of an upcoming film called All Faire in Love.
The lineup of judges was rather interesting and certainly diverse. Robert Earl, the Owner and Co-Chairman of Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino was a judge of the contest, as well as Shandi Sinnessey, who is Miss USA 2004 and Shana Moakler who is Miss USA 1995. Willie Geist, a co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”, Brian Graden, President of Entertainment MTV Networks Music Channels, and Perez Hilton, the Iternet’s most notorious celebrity gossip blogger were present as judges for the contest as well. Aside from the aforementioned, there was Alicia Jacobs of Access Hollywood, Claudia Jordan from Deal or No Deal, John Miller the CMO of NBC Universal, Kelly Monaco from PEEPSHOW, Kenan Thompson from “Saturday Night Live”, Eric Trump – the executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions of the Trump Organization, Holly Madison from “The Girls Next Door”, Kevin Rudolf with the chart-topping single “Let it Rock” and more.
